upgrading to WordPress 2.7

Was surprisingly easy. I finally figured out how to do the wordpress upgrades, I think.

Also reconfigured twitter tools so that twitter will now only post once a day with a digest. I really should get a sidebar widget instead of creating posts about this, but who has the time?

Examples vs OOTB

Best Practices and examples are probably more important and useful than out of the box software. Once I see how something is done, it is usually pretty cheap to repeat and customized to my needs. Out of the box, most just means it is broken and needs fixing.
